FEMA Head Has Had Enough Of San Juan Mayor’s Posturing & Gives Her Exactly What She Deserves

Kirsters Baish| I think I can speak for most Americans when I say that we are sick and tired of the San Juan Mayor using her position to attack President Donald Trump and his administration. She has been doing just about everything she can to convince people that Trump is the bad guy, when in reality her lies are going to bury her, not him.

Following the wake of Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Maria, Puerto Rico has had a hard time rebuilding, but that is NOT President Trump’s fault, although the San Juan Mayor wants you to believe that. According to the other leaders of Puerto Rico, the Trump administration has been doing a fine job of aiding the people of Puerto Rico in their recovery efforts.

Mayor Cruz has picked her side, and that is the side of the mainstream liberal media. After weeks of posturing, the mainstream media has posed the question to Mayor Cruz as to how she feels about the efforts made by the Trump administration thus far following the catastrophic hurricanes.

President Trump visited Puerto Rico last Tuesday and helped to hand out supplies to those in need. The Leftist media has attacked Trump for throwing paper towels to a crowd, and while it looked a bit strange and sloppy, it doesn’t change the fact that he was present and he was doing what he could to lighten the mood while helping the masses.

On Sunday, Mayor Cruz jumped on Twitter to post a series of messages directed at numerous high-profile media people. All she was looking for was more attention. We all saw this one coming… I mean, Mayor Cruz CONSTANTLY attacked response efforts. We all had to know that FEMA was going to respond eventually. The FEMA Administrator was questioned about the San Juan Mayor, and his response was brutal.

The Washington Free Beacon reported that Brock Long said during an interview that he didn’t have the time to deal with Mayor Cruz. He also said that FEMA has had enough of her antics.

“We filtered out the mayor a long time ago, we don’t have time for the political noise.”

“The bottom line is that we are making progress every day in conjunction with the governor,” Long went on.

One of the biggest issues in Puerto Rico is that the weather is so unpredictable. Even tropical storms that unexpectedly roll through can destroy any progress that has already been made during relief efforts. Reconstructing the power grid is a grueling, yet necessary task at this point.

Elon Musk has stepped up to offer assistance in helping rebuild the power grid. He plans on using solar technology. While it all sounds great, we are left asking how much it is going to cost the American taxpayer.

The reconstruction of Puerto Rico isn’t going to be an easy process. No one needs negative comments out of someone who is doing everything she can to hinder progress just to prove a point. At least FEMA has chosen to ignore her ridiculous comments in order to help the people of Puerto Rico. Let’s just hope that Long’s comments start to sink in and the San Juan Mayor realizes that everyone is sick and tired of her complaining.
